Improving & Monitoring Indoor Air Quality | Harford Community College
Harford Community College in Bel Air, Maryland was experiencing difficulties with providing safe, disinfected spaces for their students and faculty. Upon discovering that it was nearly impossible to verify the building disinfection solutions or the improvement to the indoor air quality (IAQ), they turned to FSG.
In talking with FSG, Harford Community College was shown that the latest disinfection tools on the market included real-time air quality monitoring. With this monitoring, HCC would be able to provide their stakeholders with the necessary information they needed in order to prove that the facilities’ air quality maintained safe levels. FSG was contracted to outfit 16 facilities with NPBI units, duct-mounted ionization monitors in 32 HVAC units, wall-mounted ionization units in 32 common space areas, 96 LoRaWAN gateways in 16 campuses, and 32 wall-mounted IAQ sensors in 32 common space areas.
