FSG Introduces VP of Propel Prefabrication
FSG is pleased to announce the addition of Andrew Layman as Vice President of Propel Prefabrication. Andrew will develop and execute the strategic vision for FSG’s prefab organization and build his team on the principles of servant leadership, extreme ownership, and lean ideals in construction.
Andrew brings 21 years of experience in the electrical trade to FSG, with 8 years in the field, and 13 years specializing in prefabrication. He has a proven track record of overseeing, collaborating on, and facilitating successful multi-trade prefabrication operations for multiple hospitals, universities, high-rises, data centers, and other commercial and industrial projects.
For the last 5 years of his career, Andrew has focused on lean idea collaboration and implementation in a prefab environment. He says, “Having managed logistics and productivity for Prefab, Shipping & Receiving, and Tool Departments, I am excited to take on this next opportunity and grow FSG’s Prefab Department.”
Andrew will be relocating to San Antonio from Oregon. He has been married for 19 years and has two children. In his spare time, he enjoys woodworking, fishing, and all things outdoors. He and his family are looking forward to the warmer weather and exploring the rich history and culture of San Antonio, as well as the rest of Texas.
Please join us in congratulating Andrew on his new position and welcoming him to FSG! Andrew, we are excited to have you on board and see your vision for Propel Prefabrication take shape.
