As we celebrate this beautiful season, let us pause and reflect on the amazing blessings we have been given and give credit and honor to the God who makes it all possible. In this year’s Christmas message video, Bill Graham reflects on 41 years of FSG and our Lord and Savior and the people who have made it all possible. You can find a link to this year’s Christmas Message Video following a few words from Bill Graham below.
Dear FSG-ians,
The Architect and the Builders
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. As we close another successful year, I want to tell everyone how grateful I am for you. Our people truly are our greatest asset. Thank you, thank you.
Next to our people, we are grateful for our FSG vision and mission statement. Forty years ago, two guys set out to sell some light bulbs and immediately faced a need for wisdom and faith as a humble start-up. We listened to sermons in our early morning commutes and God gave us both. Looking back now, we see God had plans for us far beyond our plan at the time – survival was our only plan.
God is the Architect, we are the builders!
The divinely inspired FSG vision and mission (displayed below) has gone unchanged for 41 years. It is with great joy that the vision “to build an institution” is now realized! The success we have had these past 41 years now makes the building project possible. Like other great Institutions at work for good in this world, we move forward into 2024 to invest and build ours by faith, “the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not yet complete.” We hope and pray the next generations can look back and hear our Lord say, “Well done, my good and faithful servants”.
God is the Architect, we are the builders!
It will be our dedication, through the FSG Institution, to do our part to teach, train, and build into the hearts and minds of many the way to a quality of life. This Institution will focus on six tenets that we believe all work together by God’s plans to give us the abundant life He promised. “The Devil comes only to steal, slaughter, and destroy. I have come that they may have life and have it abundantly.” John 10:10
These six tenants are Life, Family, Community, Faith, Entrepreneurship, and Investment. (see slide below). We believe these six tenants work together and help deliver more completely the primary mission of the FSG Institution, which is to willingly contribute to the quality of life of all people … seeking God’s will for all people. Through answered prayer and by God’s will, we set out to follow them and build our future based on them.
We encourage you to watch the video message for more about the institution-building plans. We invite you to be an institution-builder if God calls you to join in. This video project was a team effort, as the building project will be. There is power and wisdom in the abundance of counselors. Our institution will teach us never to go it alone.
I hope and pray you find peace, love, and joy this Christmas season and each day thereafter.
“I have plans for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Jeremiah 29:11 Our Lord and King Jesus Christ
“For God loved the world He gave His One and Only Son so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world that He might condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.”
John 3:16-17
“For He says: I heard you in an acceptable time, and I helped you in the day of salvation. Look, now is the acceptable time; now is the day of salvation.” 2 Corinthians 6:2
“The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead, he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.”
2 Peter 3:9
Merry Christmas!!
