At the end of 2024, Bernie Erickson retired as Chief Marketing Officer of FSG. During his tenure, Bernie didn’t just help shape the institution, more importantly, he helped shape and grow the people around him. Bernie is a beloved leader, mentor, and friend to many at FSG.
Throughout his time at FSG, Bernie championed new opportunities, embraced challenges, and encouraged those around him to think big. We spoke to many people about Bernie’s legacy, and all of them mentioned the same thing at one point or another during their interview – Bernie’s love for helping people grow and watching them succeed in life. His belief that “you can create who you are and what you want to be” has inspired many FSG employees to take risks and pursue excellence.
It’s no surprise that Benie’s proudest achievement in his time at FSG isn’t a project or sale, it’s the impact he’s had on people. As he moves into retirement, Bernie looks forward to spending more time with his family, but his legacy will remain woven into the fabric of FSG.
