Emmanuel “Manny” Martinez is the Director of Engineering for our NYC and FL teams and has been with FSG since 2003. Before FSG, Manny worked as a VDC Manager and Project Manager for an electrical contractor and general contractor in New Rochelle.
Manny is most proud of being trusted to lead a team of highly skilled people who take conceptual ideas and turn them into realistic, buildable designs that perform in demanding field conditions. What energizes him most is seeing the real-world impact of that work. A key lesson behind his success is taking initiative while keeping steady communication with the team to maximize time and efficiency in an industry where time crunches are common. Manny is understandably proud when he drives through New York City and knows he played a part in shaping the iconic skyline.
Since joining FSG, Manny’s leadership skills have grown exponentially. One of the toughest challenges he’s faced has been meeting expedited timelines, and he credits the team’s progress to creating project standards and adopting new technology to streamline the design process. Outside of work, Manny enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, trying new restaurants, and playing sports with his kids.
