Dear FSG Family, The month of May was an extremely emotional and memorable month for my family and I.
On May 1st we were excited to move into our new apartment only to be devastated 3 days later by an apartment fire. I have learned a lot from this experience. After the fire my faith in God grew stronger, my hopes got bigger, & my love grew deeper. Although we had lost all of our belongings, I realized we had not lost EVERYTHING. We still had our family & we still had God. I new as long as I had faith in God my family would be ok. So I prayed wholeheartedly and often. During the weeks after the fire my family and I lived in a hotel. This is where my children showed me that it really doesn’t matter where we are, but as long as we’re together we can be happy.
I feel so very blessed for everyone in my life especially my FSG Family! I have witnessed some amazing things from people I have never met. We are so appreciative for everyones prayers, donations, and time spent to help us.
On Saturday, May 31st, several FSG guys helped load up a trailer and moved all the donated furniture into our new home! I prayed and prayed and I believe God put FSG in my life to deliver those answers to my prayers. We lost a lot the day of the fire but we gained so much more. Not materialistically but spiritually. I can not send out enough thank yous to show how tremendously grateful we are!!!
