This week, Denver’s Construction department made its first field promotion. Jesus Ordaz was promoted from Journeyman Electrician to Foreman.
Jesus joined the Denver Construction team earlier this year and quickly proved his leadership capabilities by completing two small projects and taking the lead role for a 26,000-square-foot manufacturing/office tenant fit-out. Under the supervision of Jose Cornelio, General Superintendent, Jesus contributed significantly to the planning of this full-scope electrical project and has been overseeing five other electricians on this installation – all while wearing his tools and contributing to productivity.
“Jesus has done a great job of grabbing the reins, interfacing with the general contractor, coordinating with other trades on site, staying ahead of material requisitions, and laying out his crew every day. We are proud to call him our first of many field promotions as we continue to grow our OpCo toward being a major player in the Denver electrical construction market.”
– Rob Cheney, FSG Denver Director of Construction
