FSG New Jersey was proud to present Journeyman Electrician Nathanael Smith with the branch’s Safety Award for the month of October.
Nathanael recently joined FSG and is already making a significant contribution to the institution. Nathan’s commitment to excellence and proactive approach to safety not only aligns with FSG’s exemplary safety record but also goes above and beyond expectations. Because of this, he’s been presented with Division 14’s Safety Award for the month of October.
Nathaniel has been a model employee since starting with FSG. He sets a great example for his coworkers by always making sure to do his tasks the right way. I’m grateful to have him as part of our team.
-Stephen Malave, Vice President, FSG NJ
Soon after starting at FSG, Nathanael was put on one of our more high-profile sites due to his level of experience. FSG Safety makes it a point to visit this site at least once a week, and during one of those visits, we observed Nathanael confirming the absence of power. This is a practice we always follow after a circuit has been locked out and tagged out, but Nathanael was so thorough that we decided to use him as an example for younger, less experienced electricians on how to safely do their job.
It was so refreshing to watch someone who takes safety so seriously.
– Paul Stevens, FSG Northeast Regional Safety Manager
