  • Stay informed about local building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards.
  • Ensure that designs comply with relevant codes and regulations.
  • Research and select appropriate materials, finishes, and furnishings for architectural projects.
  • Consider sustainability and environmental impact in material choices.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to integrate various project components into cohesive designs.
  • Coordinate with consultants and specialists to incorporate specialized elements into designs.
  • Prepare and present design proposals to clients, project stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
  • Communicate design ideas effectively through drawings, models, and presentations.
  • Develop comprehensive construction documents, including detailed drawings and specifications.
  • Work closely with the project team to ensure accuracy and clarity in documentation.
  • Support project management activities, including budgeting, scheduling, and monitoring project progress.
  • Collaborate with project managers to address design-related challenges during construction.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in architectural design.
  • Attend relevant workshops, conferences, and training to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
  • Previous experience in architectural design, with a portfolio showcasing design projects.
  • Proficiency in architectural design software and tools (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).
  • Strong design and visualization skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Knowledge of sustainable design principles.
  • Strong attention to detail in both design and documentation.
