Route Driver
Job Description
As a Route Driver you will operate an assigned delivery vehicle over an established route to deliver and sell products or render services, collect money from customers, and other delivery/warehouse duties as assigned.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Transport products by either a van, box truck, or other vehicle type.
- Deliver lighting supplies to various commercial accounts in a timely manner.
- Record sales or delivery information on daily sales or delivery records.
- Duties may also include assortment and preparing of customer orders.
- Shipping and receiving of materials.
- Unloading and loading of trucks.
- Relocating materials within the warehouse and stocking shelves.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Must have a clean driving record
- Candidate must pass a drug and background screening test
- Candidate must possess the ability to consistently lift and move heavy objects up to 50 LBS
