Announcing New Executive Appointments!
On February 7, FSG company leadership announced the creation of four new executive-level positions along with the leaders who will fill them, as part of a plan to strategically promote growth and operational synergy across the company.
In accordance with the company’s long-term institutional plans, the new roles at the company will help guide the business as it expands into new markets and establishes new and exciting service verticals.
The company’s new Chief Revenue Officer will be Robert Graham, who currently serves as the Chief Business Development Officer for FSG’s National Accounts division. Bob joined FSG in 1985 and created the company’s Dallas-based National Accounts operation.
Moving forward, Bob will continue to head up business development for NAC while serving the company in his new role by focusing on driving better integration and alignment between all revenue-related functions.
Another new position created in 2022 is the Chief Marketing Officer role. The company has tasked Bernie Erickson, FSG’s current Director of Innovation based out of Perth Amboy, New Jersey, with this important job. In his new position, Bernie will oversee a unified national marketing vision and strategy for the company. In addition, Erickson will continue to serve as the company’s Director of Innovation.
A new Chief Sales Officer position was also just announced, and the position will be filled by David Attardi. Attardi takes on this role after successfully building the ESCO group and Utility Services Division at FSG into national providers of energy efficiency solutions. As Chief Sales Officer, Attardi will formulate and implement a national sales strategy to unify efforts and deliver a standardized sales approach to our customers across the country.
The last two years have shined a light like never before on the importance and strategic advantage of our lighting distribution business. In recognition of that fact, FSG has also created a new Chief Operating Officer of Distribution position, to be filled by Leon Mowadia. Following his success in building FSG’s New York City operation, Leon will now be focused on building FSG’s distribution business, creating a strategic vision for the company’s lighting business, and insuring that FSG remains one of the nation’s leading distributors of lighting and controls.
Another important development for the company involves the creation of a new service vertical designed to address the needs of the rapidly expanding Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) business sector. Our Horticultural Lighting service offerings will place the company at the intersection of preparation and opportunity at a time when indoor agriculture is booming, and exciting news related to vertical farming and urban agriculture pops up almost every week.
To lead this effort, the company has named Chris Hinshaw to serve as Director of Horticulture. Hinshaw joins the company to lead this new vertical after a successful career working in the controlled environment agriculture (CEA) and horticultural lighting sector. (Let’s all extend a warm welcome to Chris!)
When asked about these exciting announcements, Bill Graham, FSG’s CEO, commented, “These new corporate roles are part of a deliberate strategy to grow FSG to the next level while creating a timeless institution for our employees and customers.”
Great news for FSG! Onward and upward in 2022!
