FSG NorthEast is pleased to announce that John Tull has joined FSG to head our Infrastructure Group.
Working with Bernie Erickson and Joe Reuter, John will be building on the work we have already done in this market (Rail and Bus, Airport, Port Facilities, Bridges and Tunnels, Street Lighting, Water Treatment, Dams) focused primarily on LED lighting retrofits and advanced controls, with the goal of making FSG the lighting leader in this space. Existing FSG infrastructure projects include Amtrak nationally, NJ Transit, Newark Airport, Philadelphia Marine Terminal, PATH, Lincoln and Holland Tunnels, US Army Corps of Engineers Dam Projects, George Washington Bridge and many others.
John is a visionary innovator who has 25 plus years experience in energy efficiency project development, power plant operation, construction, project management, commercial property management, real estate development, and maintenance management. Most recently John identified, developed, and lead 120 plus high value projects at Amtrak that have generated over $29 million in energy cost savings over the past 8 years. During this tenure John also developed the Utility Scale Transit Oriented Microgrid (US TOM) concept. This effort facilitated a $1.1M investment by the State of New York to evaluate and design microgrid technologies between Amtrak’s NY Penn Station and its Sunnyside Yard asset in Long Island.
