Hi, my name is Brannon Bourland and I am the newest member of FSG’s Training, Development, and Communications Dept. My role in the TD&C department is to help all of us communicate the spirit and culture of FSG to our fellow employees and customers.
While I have several tools to help do that, one of the best tools I can utilize is this website. My vision for FSG Today is that it will be the place to go for the latest news, information, and resources to help foster a spirit of growth and pride at Facilities Solutions Group. I need your help to make that vision a reality. One of the best ways you can help me is by sharing your stories, experiences, and successes in the form of an article. Here are three frequently asked questions about submitting an article to help better understand how we can work together to make FSG Today great.
“I’m not a web designer, how can I contribute to a website?” You don’t have to be a web designer, you simply have to be able to write a couple of paragraphs and email them to me [email protected] . That’s it! I’ll edit for length as needed and check for spelling. I want the words to be yours, but I know it can be tough to find the right words. Don’t let that stop you from sending your ideas anyway. If there is a story you want to share, I will be happy to help develope the right words to share it.
“Where do you get the pictures for the articles that are posted on the website?” Simple, from you! You don’t have to be a great photographer. Just make sure you send me a relevant picture or two to go along with your story. You can even send me a picture from your iPhone. Just make sure your thumb is not in the picture!
“How many articles can I submit?” As many as you want. If I start to get too many articles for a single week, I will simply send them into a backlog and be rolled out at a later date. Be sure to emphasize to me if your article is time-sensitive so that I can be sure to get it posted within a relevant time frame.
I look forward to working with you all and I look forward to the future of FSG. If you have any questions or comments about the website be sure to visit the FSG Main Forum and let us know what you think.
