FSG is pleased to announce the hiring of Rob Cheney as the company’s new Director of Construction for Division 15. He will lead FSG’s Denver-area electrical construction business and will report to Mark Mitchell, FSG’s Chief Operating Officer for Construction.
Rob joins FSG to begin the latest chapter of a notable career in Construction and Engineering. For more than 30 years, Rob has excelled in project management, senior-level management, and executive leadership positions for Fortune 100 companies as well as federal, state, and local government agencies. His proven expertise in contracting, business strategy and development, project management, scheduling, and team building will be a huge asset to FSG’s team in Colorado.

According to Rob, “After more than three decades working with various groups on a wide variety of construction projects, I know I have much to offer. I am most excited, however, to be in a position where I can keep learning and advance my leadership skills.”
Rob’s depth of knowledge about a wide range of construction projects will make an immediate impact on the electrical construction team in Denver. Additionally, Rob brings to the job an extensive network of business and government contacts that will improve FSG’s mid-continental reach on new construction projects. “I am very excited to get started, and I am looking forward to helping FSG expand its reach in Colorado.”
