Responding Fast, Serving Better: The Leesville Post Office Story
In early March, while much of Central Texas was still recovering from a Red Flag Wind day, a call came into the FSG Signs Division from Inside Sales Representative Andrew Chapman. A business in Leesville, Texas, population 384, was without power. As it turned out, the business was not just any business. It was the local U.S. Post Office.
Although the customer relationship wasn’t yet formalized, Andrew and the Austin service team sprang into action. Quick communication around financial approvals was followed by fast coordination. Despite the location being nearly two hours away, the team moved with purpose. A work order was created by 11:00 AM. Materials were identified and sourced. By 2:45 PM, technicians were onsite in Leesville, demoing the damaged electrical service and building the new one. By 7:30 PM, the local utility company was there restoring power.
In less than 12 hours, a town’s critical infrastructure was back online!
This kind of rapid response doesn’t happen by chance. It took tight coordination, clear communication, and a serious commitment to service. The following team members went above and beyond to make it happen:
