Lighting Upgrade Success Story!

Check out this recent success story from the FSG Indianapolis team! Our Guide Center received a bid request from a machine shop that needed a lighting upgrade and installation that same week.

Brandon Kollar from FSG Indianapolis personally visited the facility to assess the situation. The machine shop was working on a critical project and needed the lighting upgrade installed before new equipment arrived the following week. The owner had a specific requirement of 50 foot-candles of uniform light at working height. Brandon suggested they aim for at least 65 foot-candles to optimize their assembly process.

After conducting thorough assessments and creating a detailed photometric layout, we identified the right products in stock to meet their needs. We decided to go with a row of 3 fixtures to ensure optimal lighting conditions instead of 2.

The results were outstanding! The photometric analysis revealed that we exceeded expectations by delivering an impressive 76+ foot candles, as verified by the light meter readings. The team at the machine shop was delighted with the outcome!

Our commitment to exceptional service and expertise did not go unnoticed. We wasted no time fulfilling the customer’s request, expediting the project and completing the installation on Friday. The customer was thrilled and requested a quote to upgrade the lighting throughout the rest of their facility!

We’re so proud of our team’s work on this project, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to partner with this machine shop. We look forward to continuing to work with them to improve their lighting and overall operations.
