The champagne was flowing and freshly-cut ribbons were falling at the newly remodeled NAC facility in Dallas on March 28. With the busy NAC team back up and running in their fresh new 2nd-floor home, there was cause for celebration.
Under the direction of Steven Smith, FSG’s NAC Service Manager, and Randy Allen, Director of Central Services at NAC, the standard rows and files of cubicles that had previously defined and limited the workspace at NAC were replaced by a fresh new open-concept work area.
The project began on February 10 and required maximum flexibility from everyone involved. Over 60 NAC employees moved downstairs to temporarily share space with members of the CCC and Solutions Department teams while other NAC members worked remotely.
By March 20, team members began moving back upstairs to the new and improved NAC floor complete with adjustable desks and organic work areas designed to accommodate growth and a more natural workflow for everyone.
Final touches were applied during the last week of March, and by the 28th, it was time to party. Members of the FSG Executive Team, who were on site for an Institution Summit during the same week, looked on as Bob Graham and the NAC Service Team Leaders broke out the big scissors and cut the ceremonial ribbon to dedicate the newly remodeled home for FSG’s NAC team.
In the end, the remodeling project added more than 50 new workstations to support future growth at NAC while providing team members with more features and flexibility for their workspaces.
The celebration was enjoyed by all in attendance and made possible by a number of NAC team members who joined together to organize the event. Thank you to all who helped make the day one to remember.
