Propel Career Academy Holds Inaugural Summer In-Service
This week, Propel Career Academy hosted its first-ever Apprentice Summer In-Service, bringing together representatives from all eight apprenticeship locations for a comprehensive training event. The in-service was held to provide instructors with information about new policy changes, teach them ways to enhance the learning environment, and introduce them to new tools designed to improve the classroom experience for them and their students.
Sessions covered a variety of topics including Growth and Engagement, Leadership Training, Pedagogy and Practices, Marketing, and Enrollment Management. But it wasn’t all classroom time, participants got to tour the Prefabrication shop and closed out the first day with a fun mixer, allowing everyone to unwind and get to know each other better in a relaxed setting. There was good food and drinks, axe throwing, and it wouldn’t be an FSG event without cornhole!
Julie Eddards, Director of Propel Career Academy, looks forward to hosting more events in the future, continuing to foster a collaborative and dynamic learning environment for all of the instructors.
