Propel Career Academy recently hosted its first in-person Safety Summit, bringing safety managers from across the FSG network together for a three-day event at Propel Career Academy in San Antonio. This milestone marked a major step forward in Propel’s commitment to strengthening safety practices, leadership skills, and team collaboration across the institution.
Over the course of the summit, attendees dug into critical topics including Cause Mapping, Root Cause Analysis, Investigation Reporting, Workers’ Compensation, and Conflict Styles & Resolution. These sessions sparked problem-solving discussions, as teams worked through real-world scenarios and explored ways to improve safety performance on every jobsite.
Beyond the technical training, the summit created space for meaningful connections. With a focus on continuous improvement, safety leaders built relationships, shared lessons learned, and discussed future priorities. The event laid the foundation for a stronger, more connected safety community at FSG and it reinforced Propel’s mission to lead with excellence, empower our people, and drive safety outcomes that make a real impact.
