It’s FSG 40 Friday! All year long we’re celebrating our 40th anniversary and the talented folks behind FSG. This week, we’ve come across this article from an internal newsletter from 1995.
The 90s was a time of renaissance, a time of discovering new ways of executing old tasks. This article aligns with that notion, delving into the details of the newly constructed GE Heliax compact fluorescent light bulb. Constructed with handblown glass and a spiral shape comparable to linguine, this specific bulb never actually made it to production due to the high cost of materials. However, the spiral shape was reconstructed and is still used today!
As Lighting Experts, FSG’s responsibility is to ensure that each product being distributed provides the best solutions for our customers. 30 years after this newsletter was published, we’re still working every day to ensure that our customers are receiving the best possible solutions for their needs.
If you have a memory you’d like to share with us, let us know here! Thank you for everything you do to make FSG extraordinary! We wouldn’t be the same without you!
