Honoring the Legacy: FSG NAC’s Annual Crawfish Boil in Memory of Mike Grimes

Last week, FSG NAC held its annual crawfish boil in memory of NAC Service Manager Mike Grimes, a beloved member of the FSG community who passed away in 2021. He joined the company in 2006 and made a lasting impact on everyone he encountered. Since Mike was usually the one cooking at the annual crawfish boil that he started, it only made sense to honor him by continuing the tradition and naming it after him.

The fun-filled day featured lawn games, a bounce house for the kids, a cornhole tournament, and of course, LOTS of crawfish!

Mike embodied FSG’s mission statement by positively impacting the lives of those around him and his impact on others extended far beyond the workplace. His unconditional love for his wife, Rebecca, and their children was evident to all who knew them. His presence will forever be missed, and the void he left can never be filled.

Kristina Stapp says, “Mike was a friend. He built a community. Whether it was frying the turkeys for Thanksgiving potlucks, cooking all the crawfish and fixins for our annual crawfish boil, or going on lake trips with his team for an annual teambuilding fishing and camping trip. He was a boss, but a friend, too.”

The memories and impact of Mike’s life continue to live on in the hearts of his friends and family. His legacy is a reminder to appreciate the people in our lives and cherish every opportunity to express our love and gratitude.

Mike Grimes was a remarkable individual who made a profound difference in the lives of those around him. His kindness, humor, and unwavering support touched the hearts of many. Although he is no longer with us, his spirit lives on through the memories and stories shared by those who had the privilege of knowing him.
