The Customer Care Center has announced their Spotlight Awards for the 1st Quarter of 2017.
The CCC Spotlight Award is a quarterly recognition program which is voted on by the members of the CCC (which includes NACMRO, Local MRO and NAC Lighting Projects teams). The goal of the program is to “shine the spotlight” on those who are doing the most to help the CCC provide great service to our customers around the country.
Our winners and nominees for Q1, 2017 are:
NOMINEES:
Chuck North (MDC930) – Chuck is the go to guy for kitting JPMC orders, stocking and keeping the pull bins full and organized. Chuck also does the cycle count which includes reconciling it. When GE was pushing out 100 BOM’S a week Chuck could be counted on for being there 12 hours a day 6 days a week on very short notice. Chuck takes pride in his work and loves being here at FSG. He cares about FSG. It is an honor and pleasure working with such a positive person.
Margaret Richardson (Projects) – Margaret has handled the transition of taking over a majority of Starbuck’s territory very well. She’s handles new challenges like a pro and is able to grow and learn from them.
Ron Dunn (NAC MRO) – Ron’s a machine who cranks out a ridiculous amount of work for our most demanding and temperamental customers.
Rachel Booth (Local MRO) – Rachel, no matter what you throw at her, she gets it taken care of in a quick, efficient and professional manner.
Frank Torti (Dallas Branch) – Frank could win this award every quarter. I don’t know anyone more knowledgeable than him so he is a huge asset in that way. Plus, he’s willing to drop whatever he’s doing and help, whether it’s wiring up a fixture for a demo, answering a question, or anything else you might ask of him. We don’t have a better asset than Frank.
Lindsey Godfrey (Projects) – Lindsey continues to impress me with her willingness to take on new challenge after new challenge after new challenge, and she always does it with a smile on her face and a positive attitude. Her great attitude rubs off on everyone.
Lindsey has taken on a lot of responsibility recently and she has handled it like a champ. She always is willing to help by taking on a new customer or answering questions about Trend. She has been a huge help on the Projects Team.
Connie Golightly (NAC MRO) – Very hard worker and always willing to learn new things. She not only does a great job with her main work responsibilities but she also helps out everyone in the pod when times are a little stressful. She has been a great addition to the FSG Team.
Chris West (Local MRO) – Chris is a hard working teammate who strives to excel. His willingness to take on everything that is given to him with a smile really shows this determination.
Mark Price (Projects) – Mark has really come into his role at FSG. He always has a lot going on and his plate is full but he makes sure it’s all taken care of. Also I enjoy his witty one liners 🙂
Daniel Thomas (Local MRO) – Daniel continues to take care of business no matter what is thrown at him.
Chris Dembosz (MDC970) – Chris is always ready to help with questions and is quick to respond when I need a tracking number or some other kind of information.
Chris is consistently nominated for a reason. Every quarter he impresses in assisting me in any situation. This quarter he was even willing to inspect ballasts before they shipped for a picky customer. Always consistent. Always a pleasure to work with.
Lindsey Rosen (Projects) – Watching how Lindsey has taken on the job of training people I have been very impressed. She does a great job of giving step by step instructions on everything and making sure her explanations are very clear. Training can be hard to do and she has really excelled at it.
Megan Wheeldon & Adriana Trevino (NAC MRO) – The two of them made a pact to do a race once a month and they decided to include all their peers at the CCC. I think this was a great example of our IP3 theme this year. Activities like these give us a chance to get to know each other outside of the work setting. It is a way to better ourselves as individuals with the support of our peers, which results in us being a stronger team. Thank you for including and encouraging all of us, Megan & Adriana!
Adriana Trevino (NAC MRO) – Adriana cares about everyone and she wants everyone to succeed. Even when she is having a bad day it is hard to figure out because she always has that huge smile on her face. No matter what she has going on or how miniscule my question is she will stop what she is doing to help out. She embodies what it means to be a team lead.
Tara Visker (Projects) – Tara has really helped with my accounts when I was out of the office making sure they where taken care of.
Tara can always be counted on to make sure the work gets done – whether it’s on one of her accounts or someone else’s. She is willing to do whatever it takes. Great work ethic.
Lee McAfee (MDC930) – Time & time again he is there for us when we need to add onto an order for a customer or sales rep who needs to add or change an OE. Not to mention his attention to detail when it comes to shipping large pallets to customers for project orders for me. He makes sure time and time again that we are covered and doing our very best and that the customer is happy with the delivery date and the material. I appreciate him and knowing that I can tell a customer that we’ll do our best to meet their request and having no doubt it will be there on time despite a change of some type to the order…HE WILL HIT IT OUT OF THE PARK for us every time.
Sam Villarreal (Outside Sales, Dallas) – Sam is a great sales rep to work with. He really treats our interactions like a partnership. He trusts me to do my job and to do it well. He also takes my suggestions and opinions seriously on the accounts we work on. If I ever ask him for more information, to review something, or to reach out to a contact he never hesitates and always gets me the information I need. He always answers his emails and phone and I know I can count on him for constant communication. But, aside from the great things he does in the office he also makes an effort to get to know you as a person. He always makes sure to ask how my family and I are and is willing to talk about hobbies and life in general. He always has a smile on his face, even during the GE back order crisis, and is always ready with a joke when he notices your having a rough time.
WINNERS
Elizabeth Schwartz (TCP)
Elizabeth has always handled all my requests promptly and professionally. She is one of the very best vendor reps we have. We are lucky to be able to work with her.
Elizabeth is always prompt in her responses and you can feel her sincerity within every email. She has been an amazing help with BBI warranties and goes above and beyond no matter the request. She makes things easier for us no matter what she has to do on her end.
Randy Sounakhen (Kansas City Branch)
Although he works in the Kansas City branch, he has been absolutely instrumental in how that branch functions. He has never taken longer than 20 minutes to respond to any inquiry, no matter the subject or request. The KC area is being serviced exponentially faster and more smoothly than ever before. The improvements that his leadership and involvement in the warehouse have made came much faster than any of us in the CCC could have predicted, and it is all thanks to him.
Randy is always so friendly and willing to help out in any way. If he doesn’t have an answer he finds one and always gets back to me in a timely manner. He goes above and beyond his job title to make sure the customers are taken care of.
That branch is so lucky to have him! He has found a way to smooth out the problems we were having.
Randy has been super helpful with the transition of AL11. Always friendly & knowledgeable.
Since recent staff changes in KC, Randy has helped get our tickets moving promptly and has been a great communicator when something is delayed. We really appreciate his contribution and help. He’s always wearing a couple hats and is a great multitasker, knows the ways of FSG and really stands out.
Jason Dembosz (MDC970)
Jason has quickly become a go-to guy in the Chicago MDC. Always willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done. He was one of the people who enabled us to get through the early confusing and frustrating stages of the JPMC project. He stayed calm and has an excellent memory which allowed him to know where all the product was, even though it was spread across three warehouses and none of it was bin located. Very glad he’s on our team. A huge asset to the MDC.
Cecil Chavez (Local MRO)
Cecil makes it a point to walk through our pod every day with a smile on his face, just to say good morning. It makes me realize how much I walk AROUND rather than through… I’m thankful for his positive and friendly attitude.
Cecil’s interaction with internal and external customers is always friendly and professional, and he’s always ready and willing to help out.
Cecil Chavez is a great guy with a great attitude. Always willing to help any member of any team no matter what. He is a true team player with a good grasp for what he does. Fantastic with his customers as well. Bonus points for being funny and wearing dresses.
Megan Wheeldon (NAC MRO)
On top of taking care of her own accounts, Megan is always willing to help out her teammates when she has the time. There have been several times that she has asked me if there is anything she can take care for me because she knows I’m busy with a special project at the time. I really appreciate all the help I get from her.
Megan is a hard worker who is always willing to lend a hand. She is up for any challenge and I know I can always count on her.
Megan has done a great job with some of our largest and most difficult accounts. Even with all that, she’s always one of the first ones to pick up the phone or offer to help out in any way she can. Always willing to take on more. Really smart and such a hard worker.
PaMee Vang (MDC930)
PaMee has taken the lead on the returns department. As with everything she does she takes it and excels at it. A lot of folks don’t see the backend work to complete the process especially at month end with processing the months warranty claims. She then has to follow up and make sure the manufacturer sends us our credit. No one likes returns and yet she does a great job with whatever task she has been given. She is always looking for ways to improve the current processes. If it’s a heavy warranty month, its not unusual for PaMee to be at the MDC on the final Sat of the month. She wants the new month to start off clean.
PaMee has always been very helpful when I call her with questions or any issues. She is awesome at handling the RM’s that go through MDC930 and quick to return call tags. When I need help with something concerning MDC930 she’s usually my first call.
PaMee has been so helpful and patient with tracking down material for returns. I know it must be stressful and she handles it very professionally.
PaMee makes my life so much simpler with all the help she provides for the Sephora warranties.
