FSG Los Angeles Receives National Awards and Recognition

As the year winds down with the holidays upon us, FSG’s Los Angeles branch is taking a moment to celebrate a year of firsts.  

In 2022, the Los Angeles team brought home an Excellence in Construction Pyramid Award from the national trade association Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC).  This award, given for FSG’s work on the Comar Rancho project, honors the nation’s most innovative and high-quality construction projects.

The ABC Excellence in Construction trophy will remind LA team members about a fantastic year when FSG rose to a significant challenge and delivered lasting value for Comar.  Hopefully, it will be remembered as the first in a long line of trophies to grace FSG LA’s offices in the future!

ABC also awarded the LA branch a STEP Platinum rating for safety, an important designation that speaks to our professionalism and commitment to measuring and improving safe operations. 

Participating ABC members measure their safety processes and policies on 25 key components through a detailed questionnaire with the goal of implementing or enhancing safety programs that reduce jobsite incidents.  With the award of a STEP Platinum rating, FSG Los Angeles is able to demonstrate a bedrock commitment to safety that should serve to inspire not just customers, but every member of the FSG team as well.

Finally, as if being awarded for projects and processes was not enough, FSG Los Angeles finished the year by being awarded membership to the ABC Southern California chapter’s Accredited Quality Contractor (AQC) program.  This important designation is huge for the FSG Los Angeles team, as it demonstrates outstanding commitment to quality, safety, its employees, clients, and the community at large.

AQC accreditation comes with more than just a plaque from ABC’s National organization! FSG Los Angeles will be able to proudly stand side-by-side with the most professional and professionally respected electrical contractors in California.

FSG Los Angeles’ new ACQ membership, its STEP Platinum safety rating, and its ABC 2022 Excellence in Construction Award are all sure signs that the future is very bright, indeed, for FSG in the golden state of California.
