FSG 40 | Service and Customer Satisfaction

It’s FSG 40 Friday! All year long we’re celebrating our 40th anniversary and the talented folks behind FSG. This week, we’re looking at a feature from FSG’s internal newsletter in 1996.

Service and customer satisfaction are the foundations of our business!” reads the excerpt from FSG’s newsletter from 1996. Much has changed since this publication, including the merging of American Light and Design Electric to form what is now Facility Solutions Group. What has remained the same, however, is FSG’s constant strive for excellence and customer satisfaction. 

While most think “customer satisfaction” refers to the external client, it also refers to the internal client, FSG’s very own employees. Chris Perez, pictured here, joined the company in 1994, thinking he was just picking up a seasonal summer job. Fast-forward 28 years, and he is now the Service and Aerial Manager at the San Antonio office.

“I have opted to stay with FSG through the years because it is a place founded on integrity. From the corporate leadership to my fellow employees, these people have become extended family and they make FSG a great business to be a part of. During my development I felt that management always recognized my accomplishments and then presented me with new challenges. I am grateful for these challenges as they were actually opportunities to grow.I was surrounded by people that shared the same passion for the trade and I can never thank them enough for their leadership and support. FSG is a place that I am proud to have been a part of.”
