The National Accounts Team recently announced their award winners for Q2!
Shandley Davis – Top Performer for Operations – To the employee who has contributed above and beyond during the quarter, delivered an outstanding contribution to profitability or generally is recognized as the TOP performing employee of the quarter.
This is what Chris Wills had to say about Shandley.. Shandley has the ability to successfully take on multiple projects under multiple PM’s at the same time. She’s willing and eager to learn new systems and strategies to better herself, and the project team. Being a fast learner who’s always curious helps Shandley grow professionally every day. Her obsession with perfection drives her to do more to help the team execute, even when it’s not entirely in her wheelhouse (e.g., material ordering for J&J, helping with the pricing for Lifetime, or coming up with a color code system for Langley to help better identify what bill cycle goes with which house). Shandley’s drive and determination to contribute to the win are contagious, and she’s become a key player for FSGNA. She’s earned this award.
Diana Gonzalez – Top Performer for CCC – To the employee who has contributed above and beyond during the quarter, delivered an outstanding contribution to profitability or generally is recognized as the TOP performing employee of the quarter.
This is what Mark and Courtney had to say about Diana… For both Spirit and Top Performer I choose Diana. I rarely ever hear a complainant about anything, she takes care of everything without hesitation, jumps in and will tackle what we ask and need her to and does it all with a smile. She is one of the few that is ALWAYS working all day long. With adding the local phones I would almost bet she picks up the majority of what comes through while still juggling Simon. I think FSG would be hard pressed to find someone else that works the way she does and with the attitude/manor she does it in. Additionally, in Q2 she handled 3,084 phone calls, entered 1,869 OE’s that contained 4,665 lines of material, and a sales total of $2,022,860.
Andrew Wimmer – Innovation Award – To the employee who provides the most innovative idea that enhances short and long-term organizational productivity.
This is what Mark and Courtney had to say about Andrew… Andrew Wimmer (FSG Logistics Manager) – through his personal expertise, Andrew has drastically changed FSG’s transportation capabilities and capacity. We have won RFP’s and performed well and profitably on complex projects (GE JPMC, GE CVS, GE Morgan Stanley, Redaptive, Verizon, et. al.) Andrew has consolidated our transportation spend and negotiated very competitive rates with major carriers that have allowed FSG to win and profitably execute these complex projects. He has gained market intelligence on 3PL pricing from around the country that has resulted in FSG offering a completely new service offering – Logistics as a Service. Faced with a new challenge on the CVS project, Andrew developed a “pallet license plate” system that allows contractors to know exactly what is on each pallet in a shipment. Additionally, Andrew recently rolled out a self service program that allows project mangers to get quick and accurate LTL freight cost and shipping time estimates. In short, Andrew has significantly raised our capabilities in every area of FSG transportation management.
Melody Farahmand – Spirit Award – To the employee who demonstrates consistent positive attitude in all settings each quarter.
This is what Kristina had to say about Melody… Melody has only been here a few months but I’ve never seen her not smiling. Her bubbly and friendly personality is contagious. She makes me smile. She’s always willing to jump in and help in every way possible. She’s eager to learn everything she can so that she can assist on any task. She’s a great first impression of FSG to all that call or enter the building.
