Introducing Rudy Alanis | Chief People Officer

We are pleased to announce Rudy Alanis as our new Executive Vice President, Chief People Officer and member of the Board of Directors, effective April 18, 2022.

In this new leadership role, Rudy will lead FSG’s Human Resources function, ensuring FSG is structured for consistent growth. Through driving employee retention, analytics, system consolidation, workforce planning, on-time recruiting, competitive compensation and benefits, leadership development, succession plan and diversity, equity, and inclusion to the next level, the aim is for FSG to be recognized by our employees as the best employer in the industry.

FSG, being a people business, focuses on the power and talent within the operation. Rudy’s addition to the leadership team will continue to prioritize the people in order to bring FSG to the next level of employee experience, talent development, and institutionalization.

Rudy began his professional career at PepsiCo bottling group as a Talent Analyst, moving two years later to General Electric (GE) as part of an HR Leadership Program. He spent the next eighteen years in multiple assignments of increasing responsibility throughout several industries and international locations. His focus included high exposure to “state of the art” HR shared services, analytics, mergers and acquisitions, business integrations, HR technologies, leadership development initiatives, succession planning, and strategic workforce planning.

Rudy made a career change in 2018, becoming the first Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer for Helix Electric, a role he held until now. During his tenure, Rudy led a highly successful HR transformation that positioned the business to grow by 40% in the last four years, building a strong HR organization and increasing effectiveness in recruiting, retention, talent development, and succession planning, among others.

Rudy has a BA in Industrial Relations from Iberoamericana University in Mexico City, a Program Certificate in Strategic Human Resources Management from e-Cornell, and a Program Certificate in Strategic Management from Harvard Extension School.

Rudy, his wife Cristina, his son Santiago (12), and daughter Regina (11) will be relocating from San Diego to Austin this summer.

We are excited to welcome Rudy to the team and look forward to seeing how his skills, experience, and passion will contribute to the success and quality of life for all at FSG. Join us in welcoming Rudy to the FSG family and wishing him success in his new role!
